Giant Monsters and Magical Girls
Upon the easternmost rim of the Southern Desert is a Savannah dotted with tiny dwellings, all centered upon the city of ____________. This is Abylon; her capital stands like a gem in the sands. Its ruler: Gilead the Indomitable, or so he is called by his subjects. A warrior-king who rules with an iron fist, and the aspirations of an architect. It was he who commissioned the hanging gardens in his capital, as well as the Gladium: A massive Colosseum set at the edge of the feared Sands of Insanity. It is where Abylon’s prisoners are held, and its champions come to compete. It is place made in Gileads image, where the masses are appeased with combat of all forms. Though many have sought to overthrow him, none have withstood his awesome power. Indeed there is a mingled sentiment of fear, awe, and respect for this monarch. Despite his heavy-handed rule, his coming improved life for many, and his reign has remained for the most part one of honor and justice. Indeed many praise Gilead for his faithful defense of their nation from the many threats of the world.
